The Duett sealing device is used by cardiologists and radiologists to seal the arterial puncture site following percutaneous procedures such as angiography, angioplasty and stent placement. Using a dual approach - a balloon catheter and procoagulant - the Duett sealing device is designed to rapidly and safely stop the bleeding. The Duett is unique in its ability to quickly seal the entire puncture site with a one-size-fits-all device that leaves nothing rigid behind which could interfere with re-access or potentiate an infection. The Duett sealing device results in a "quiet" groin and improved patient comfort.
