MetriZyme is a neutral PH non-corrosive 12% dual enzymatic detergent designed to lift proteinaceous matter and bodily fluids from the surfaces of instruments, particularly lenses, lock boxes and channels. Metri/Zyme assists in the process of disinfection/sterilization by enabling them to work on "clean" instruments (instruments free of blood, mucous and soil). The protein dissolving enzymes allow a fast, simple removal of body fluids that cannot be accomplished manually with soaps or detergents. MetriZyme includes two portent-dissolving enzymes extending its effectiveness over a broader range of temperatures and water PH values. It is non-corrosive and has a pleasant mint scent.
