StatSpin PlasmaRotors are used for rapid, convenient and efficient separation of plasma from a blood sample and contain an inert barrier material. They are designed for use with the CoagSpin centrifuge and other StatSpin Centrifuges. Plasma rotors are particularly useful in "stat" situations where the time required for traditional centrifugation might delay the availability of medically important data. Plasma rotors are unique in that the separation process is visible to the operator.
