Unique "finger-stick" collection system utilizes a capillary tube for easy blood drawing; no "scooping" necessary. After draining into a microtube, blood is centrifuged and serum or plasma is easily removed.
Chemistry - gel barrier between cells and plasma; no remixing of sample. 200 µL volume yields approximately 120 µL of serum or plasma with normal hematocrits.
Hematology - Blood immediately mixes with EDTA minimizing microclots. Blood is drained into convenient microtube, can be remixed and sampled. Two sizes available; 100 µL and 200 µL.
